Architectural Review Committee

The purpose of the Committee is ensuring visual harmony and soundness of repair, avoiding activities harmful to the aesthetics or property values of the community.

The Committee reviews all applications for any renovations to the exterior of the house including , but not limited to all entrance doors, storms doors, garage doors, windows, siding colors, awnings, solar tubes, roof shingles and colors, satellite dishes, addition -- three season rooms, patios, porches, sidewalks, driveway and trees.

The Committee requires an application form to be approved prior to the start of any project. If necessary, each application shall include a copy of the survey, drawing and sketches, with dimensions for review. Once approved, the homeowner can begin the project. No changes can occur unless previously approved by the Committee.

Additionally, the Committee performs inspections of the properties to ensure they are in sound repair and visually attractive. This includes the property immediately surrounding the house. For example, flowerbeds are to be weed free and properly maintained. If problems or issues occur, the Committee will work with the homeowner to resolve any discrepancies.

The Board of Trustees has the power and authority to issue fines, and /or revoke clubhouse privileges in the event the reviewed architectural requests are not followed as approved or violations occur.
